DESIGN & CONSULATNCY OF TESTING AS PER IS & IEC
We have around 30 years of experience in testing various type electrical switchgear products. We conduct test as various national and international standards. Basically, three decades ago we use to carry out KitKat Fuses, Switch Fuse Units and Miniature Circuit Breaker, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Feeder Pillar, Distribution Boards and Electrical Panels etc. at Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai, National Test House, Mumbai, Electrical Research Development Associations, Vadodara, and Central Power Research Institute at Bhopal and Bengaluru. We had strictly followed recommend Indian Standards and other International Standards to carry out various type tests. Now we provide technical design & consultancy for making test samples and get tested above mention electrical switchgear products at various reputed testing institutes.
LOW TENSION ELECTRIC PANEL TEST
We design and consultancy in the field of all kinds of low-tension electric panels. We coordinate with panel builder and various testing institute for getting type test certificates. Now a days we offer total consultancy for Totally Type Test Assemblies (TTA) & Partial Type Tested Assemblies (PTT) as per IEC: 60439. Switchgear type test also refers to the tests to be taken to obtain “LVTCERT Certificate”. Test includes- Strength of materials, Degree of protection, Clearances and creepage, Protection against electric shock, Dielectric properties, Temperature-rise, short-circuit withstand strength, Electromagnetic compatibility, and Mechanical operations. Also, the important tests are – Resistance to corrosion, Properties of insulating materials, Verification of the thermal stability of the enclosures and Verification of the resistance of insulating materials.
HIGH TENSION ELECTRIC PANEL TEST
We design and consultancy in the field of all kinds of High-Tension electric panels. We coordinate with panel builder and various testing institute for getting type test certificates. Test are carried out as pe IS/IEC: 62271-201: 2006 and test samples are designed to withstand all related tests. As per IS/IEC 62271-201: 2006 number and details of Test are – Rated normal current, Temperature rise, rated short-time withstand current, Rated peak withstand current, Rated duration of short circuit, Rated supply voltage of closing and opening devices and of auxiliary and control circuits, Rated supply frequency of operating devices and auxiliaries control circuits, 0 Rated pressure of compressed gas supply for Insulation and/or operation. These tests are stringent as per far as requirements are concern. Extra cares are taken for making the sample for testing.
AUTO TRANSFORMER STARTER PANEL TEST
We design and consultancy for unique switchgear item of auto transformer starter panel. It is simple and innovative method of controlling speed of motors unlike regular starters. Auto transformer Starter can be used for both star/deltas connected induction motors. Three phase autotransformer is used to reduced high inrush starting current. The auto transformer starter is the most popular of the electromechanical reduced-voltage starters. Its popularity is attributed to the fact this type of starter can reduce the inrush current in the distribution system to the lowest level of all the different electromechanical types of starters. We design and drawings for this type special testing at government approved and NABL certified test institute. We have involved various Indian standards to get successive test results, as this is having multi tapping of winding transformers.
